Atlanta's Design Museum is currently showcasing an exhibition entitled: 'To a T' T-shirt Culture... Cute or Couture? With brands like Atlanta-based Pecan Pie Couture in the mix, I'd say the answer is a little bit of both.
Pecan Pie Couture is truly a southern belle- one who's not afraid to roll up her sleeves and roll out the dough. A little bit tacky, a little bit sassy and unmistakably Southern, Pecan Pie's graphic stenciled and hand -embroidered t-shirts are the perfect combination of big-city opulence and small town civility.The designs are fresh, fun and kind of remind me of a southern version of Johnny Cupcakes!
