Maga-zombies no more!

Just a preface... I have no affiliation with anything or anyone but my school debt... I always wonder about websites I visit that constantly hype things... in the back of my mind I'm thinking...does this person actually like this stuff, or do they get a percentage? Trust me when I say the main reason I keep this is up is because I don't like most things... I mean, take magazines.... how many ways can we be told "50 Ways to Please Your Man"? Are there really that many creams for my complexion? Do they really think I want to look, dress and act like Beyonce (I hear she loves Popeyes... the one thing we have in common).... Above are three magazines (click on them for links to their site) that I truly feel are different. The first is published in the Boston area and is up-and-coming (read: uncorrupted), the second sets itself apart from other urban magazines with its substance and dedication to art. The last is from the publishers of Essence, which in all honesty deterred me from even picking it up... but it's actually pretty good. It kind of reminds me of a more urban flavored Sassy Magazine (do you remember Sassy?!). The best part is it's beautifuly produced and features amazing artwork throughout!
