Intermission from Consumption (random post of the month)

You all know the drill.
The eerily human, yet clearly robotic voice answers the phone.
"Hello, welcome to (insert company here) para el español, prensa tres. Please listen carefully to the options as they have changed..."
If you're anything like me you HATE that electronic woman. By option number 5, she has usually failed to address my concern, at which point I grow annoyed and usually push zero out of sheer frustration and in the hopes I'll reach a human:
"Sorry you have pressed an incorrect key....Hello, welcome to (insert company here) para el para el español, prensa tres. Please listen carefully to the options as they have changed..."
It's even been enough to deter me from ordering things all together!!
Well Paul English has just offered the solution. Though "0" usually does the trick, some places (the ones I usually call) hide their humans behind a series of weird and unnecessary code. I actually learned about this site while watching the news. I was having serious problems with my cell phone.... I thought I'd give it a shot, and just a #00 later I was on the phone with "Tabitha" who fixed the problem in no time! This holiday season, save your sanity and someone's job: demand a real person!
